And here’s the irony: Summer Moon Coffee isn’t originally from Cape Coral, Florida!
Newsflash…. The brand originally came from Texas, of all places. A veritable staple of Austin, in fact. As a spark, it lit up like an idea of how oak-roasted coffee took the libation to a level that was unparalleled.
Who knew that Summer Moon Coffee spark would cause a wildfire?
And it took a local auction on coffee equipment, leading to the first-ever shop in 2002 and a creation of something called “Moon Milk,” the first hand-built roaster — and ultimately Summer Moon Coffee Bar on South First Street in 2005.
But here’s the thing: this ain’t no average coffeehouse.
Thanks to a time-tested methodology of roasting coffee beans via wood-fired brick ovens!
…. (You heard right.)
This has apparently been quite the time-honored tradition of 19th-century coffee makers, not to mention….
“Moon Milk” is more than just some kind of ‘creamer’
We’d venture to say it’s an insult to even call it kind of a creamer. It’s something more than that, giving the texture and richness a kick to go with the coffee roasted in a wood fire — you get the bold savory with the sweet, soft and smooth, and voila —
You get Summer Moon Coffee.
Summer Moon Coffee recently opened in Cape Coral, Florida
More specifically, you’ll find the Moon Milk and a cup of Jo that’ll blow your mind on 14261 S. Tamaimi Trail #10 in Fort Myers, Florida.
But, fun fact: they’re everywhere. Check out Summer Moon Coffee’s site and see for yourself just how big they’ve come!
