When should I start thinking about storm prep?
We recommend setting up a storm services plan at the start of hurricane season (June 1) — or ideally before you leave for the summer if you’re a seasonal resident. Having a plan in place means we can act immediately when a storm is forecasted.
What does pre-storm preparation look like?
Pre-storm prep includes securing or storing outdoor furniture and decor, closing hurricane shutters if you have them, checking that drains are clear, storing loose items that could become projectiles, and doing a full property check before the storm arrives.
What happens after a storm passes?
We inspect your property as soon as it’s safe to access, document any damage with detailed photos, remove debris from the yard and pool area, and contact you immediately with a full report. If repairs are needed, we coordinate with trusted vendors on your behalf.
I'm not in Florida during hurricane season -- how does this work?
This is exactly who we designed our storm service for. We monitor storms, prep your property before landfall, and send you a full photo assessment immediately after. You’ll know the condition of your home before most people have even driven by.
Is storm service inlcuded in my maintenance package?
Storm monitoring and post-storm check-ins are included for clients on our 5-service premium bundle. For clients on smaller packages, storm prep and assessments are billed at $148/visit or added to your plan seasonally.
Can you help with insurance documentation after a storm?
Yes — our detailed photo reports with timestamps are useful for insurance claims. We document damage thoroughly so you have a clear record to share with your insurer.
